Evonik announced the completion of the relocation and expansion of its precious metal powder catalyst factory in Shanghai, China.The new factory is located in the Evonik China Multi-User Site (MUSC) in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone and will be officially put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2023.With the completion of the expansion, Evonik will double its precious metal catalyst capacity in China.

Precious metal powder catalysts are widely used in industrial chemicals, life sciences and fine chemicals.Evonik markets and sells the products under the brand name Noblyst® P.
