On January 10, 2024, Dr Cao Longjun, founder of Real New Material, visited the Nano and Advanced Materials Research and Development Institute located at No. 8 Science Park Avenue West, Hong Kong Science Park. The head of NAMI Business Development introduced that the institute is currently focusing on five areas: energy, electronics, health care, environmental protection and construction, and taking low carbon technology, functional polymers, advanced coatings, building materials, electronic materials, battery materials and advanced biological materials as the main core technology research and development direction. The world has entered the era of low carbon economic development, so enterprises have shown great interest in the application of green and sustainable nanotechnology, and also brought new business opportunities for many industries. Cao Longjun, founder of Real New Material, introduced the service areas of HK Real New Material in detail, and discussed the project development cooperation mode with NAMI. Real New Material hopes to make breakthroughs in the development of high value-added products through the industry-academia cooperation with the NAMI platform, so as to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises in the market. NAMI is an institution affiliated to the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, specializing in market-oriented product research, and has been designated as the research and development center of nanotechnology and advanced materials by the Innovation and Technology Commission of the Hong Kong government. Since its establishment 15 years ago, the NAMI team has expanded to more than 200 members, and has completed a series of important scientific research achievements.
